IMPORTANT: Tuition boycott (! For freshmen)

As you may have heard by, the winter semester 2007/08 for the second time a boycott instead of tuition fees. To this end, the AStA (the General Student Committee) in collaboration with an attorney's trust account to which the fees can be paid. Since there was a boycott schonmal can be said of all pages that your money is completely safe here and no disadvantages arise for you (or your parents)!

The boycott does easy:

first You transfer the 275 € (and only the enrollment fee to transfer to University!) To 17 July (!) To boycott the escrow account.

2a. If still others Studis 7499 to do so, then the money will initially remain in this account, and the AStA enters into negotiations with the university. Then again, the money will be transferred to you back!

2b. If less than 7499 Studis others follow your example, the money will time transferred to the University!

NOTE: It ensteht by anyone a disadvantage (for evolutionary biologists: "Win - Win" situation)! Contrary to all the scaremongering, the rumbling so is the chance of a Exmatrikulatuion (oder für Erstsemester Nicht-Zulassung zum Studium) kleiner als die Chance auf Schwangerschaft trotz Pille!

Der Boykott soll dazu dienen, die unsozialen Studiengebühren in Münster, NRW und ganz Deutschland wieder abzuschaffen und das Recht auf freie Bildung einzufordern, die für unsere Gesellschaft höchste Priorität haben sollte. Es geht nicht einfach nur um deinen Geldbeutel, es geht (auch) um Mehr...

PS: Da wir Fachschaftler ja gezwungenermaßen auch an der Verteilung der Studiengebühren mitwirken, damit diese, wenn sie schon erhoben sind, auch wirklich so gut es eben geht genutzt werden können, können wir euch einige Missstände über die Verteilung bei uns an der Uni berichten! Lasst es euch gesagt sein, oder informiert euch selbst - Fakt ist:

Die Studiengebühren führen entgegen der Erwartungen von Land und Uni-Leitung NICHT zur dringlichen Verbesserung der Lehre und der akademischen Ausbildung!!

Aus diesem und anderen Gründen, die wir euch auch gerne während der Präsenzzeiten oder per Email genauer erläutern, möchten wir den jetzigen und zukünftigen Studierenden der WWU den Boykott an Herz legen.

AStA boycott plenary urgently seeking employees!

Dear students,


the winter semester 2008/09 the AStA again carry out a boycott of the tuition fees. The chances for a successful boycott are if we all pull together on a train!

Im hessischen Landtag wurde heute das Gesetz zur Sicherstellung von Chancengleichheit adopted at Hessian universities with a majority of SPD, Greens and Left Party.

This means that tuition fees in Hesse now officially abolished! =)

That should motivate us in NRW, not to give up our protest against tuition fees!

AStA calls for the General Assembly

The AStA of the University of Münster invites all students to participate in the Thursday 5 to gather in June by 16 clock on the Palace Square and participate in the General Assembly of the student body . link to invitation

topics are:
- Tuition fees
- Boycott the fees
- problems with tests in the Teacher Training Programme
- Bachelor - and now?

For the duration of the Assembly, all students are exempt from mandatory participation in university events!
Ahead of the VV will be held a demonstration to the above topics.

Please take part in many of the Assembly. Here you can even contribute to it, that at present misfeatures something changes. Students can make a difference when they work together und gemeinsam ihre Stimme erheben.
